Colorado Young Adult Advocates in Libraries

Mission Statement

    "C'YAAL," Colorado Young Adult Advocates in Libraries is a statewide professional organization for exchanging ideas about Young Adult services in libraries. We provide support and advice to generalists with a similar focus, and draw on shared energy and vision to create dynamic programming for young adults.

    "C'YAAL" recognizes young adults as a distinct group, grades 6 through 12, who deserve to be treated with respect and regard. By communicating, connecting, and coordinating efforts, we will provide teens with outstanding resources and services, and will furnish a welcoming and safe library environment.
